What are the things that can really hurt a narcissist? As I’d really like to hurt one right now.
Well, you can firstly try to get them to admit it but they won’t care enough about you to change their behavior. They don’t care about anyone or anything enough to change their behavior. And make no mistake, they know exactly what they’re doing. If they didn’t they wouldn’t try to hide it. They want to, if not emotionally, physically trap you specifically so they can elevate their self-esteem by destroying your life. Your misery is the only thing they want.
They’re probably never going to be actively hurt as all their focus is on how to get pleasure right now. But letting them know just how disgusted you are by them and how you never want them in your life and there is no caring for them whatsoever. And being happy and fulfilled and living your best life without them and not needing them in any way hurts deeply on a subconscious level and just keeps the internal pain of not deserving any love deeper. It further stunts them and keeps them incapable of living a good life. That’s quite a good revenge, at least for me. The more I heal and the happier I am, the further away I am from the emptiness and void and shallowness they live in. It feels great.
