I believe you want to send an automatic pre-written text as reply when you are away – out of office or are on vacation. Go to Settings -> general and set “Out of Office Autoreply” on. You need to set dates from and until for this work and enter suitable text. Don’t forget to Save it. If you want to send automated replies based on certain specific content in fields such as From To Subject etc then learn to set and use filters.
