I love cooking but anytime I cook, my appetite suddenly disappear and I won’t be able to eat it anymore

Yeah, there’s been many a time I cook a holiday meal for the family, and by the time everything’s ready I just don’t feel like eating. Satiety from food is achieved on flavors which entail both the tastes and aromas. Cooking tedious meals and over a long time exposes you to both. And your flavor sensors are saturated, which also means you reached that satiety levels that come from eating, tasting, and smelling the food.
This happens to me a lot. Even if it tastes amazing, I can only eat a little. It’s like smelling it is filling enough lol. I used to lose my appetite having to cut up raw chicken because of the feel and smell but I use gloves now to prevent that. I mean, how would I spend hours cooking only to have my appetite disappear. Not going to happen
