  1. Maybe 14โ€“16, it depends on the kid. I have daughters not sons. If I had a son I would gauge that on how well they are doing in school first and foremost. Followed by if the boy has a good grasp on respect and boundaries. Then each situation would be individual. Mini dates at home first so I can get to know the girl a little too. And watch for any red flags such as do the girls parents know where she is, etc. Under 16 would probably only get to bring a girl to the house, meet at park, take her along when we do things as a family. Primarily because he canโ€™t drive anyway.

If anytime I feel someone is toxic to them Im going to be really careful and slowly make them leave that person without affecting any of them.
