My boyfriend clearly isn’t okay with me wearing revealing clothes, I don’t know why he’s so particular about what I wear. He’s just my boyfriend.

I hate to say it, but I think you need to get a new boyfriend, or at least get rid of this one.
The idea that he felt entitled to order you to dress differently strongly suggests a combination of deep insecurity and a controlling personality, neither of which is a desirable trait in a partner. By all means, have a discussion with him about what he meant and if his answers satisfy you, then stay with him if you want, but don’t marry him or get pregnant unless and until you are 100% convinced that this was a one-time error in judgment on his part and that he is not really inclined to try to control you and your behavior.
He could just feel awkward or embarrassed in public if you’re wearing something too revealing where your tits are basically hanging out. If you’re wearing very low cut tops or clothes that show too much, try to respect his feelings and wear something decent when you’re with him in public. If you’re out shopping or just out having a good time with friends and he’s not with you, I’m sure he wouldn’t mind if you wore something a little revealing.
It really just comes down to respect. Clothing choices say a lot about someone. Keep that in mind.
