Paranoid means the unfounded or excessive fear that other people are trying to harm us. How is this increased with the use of weed?

Normally though, weed has been known to make people paranoid. To reduce or maybe stop the paranoia all together, you may try to observe the following;
Make sure you’re in a safe comfortable environment. Being in a place that makes you feel anxious or nervous before you smoke will only make you feel worse and more paranoid after you smoke.
Try a different strain or strain type altogether. Maybe you were smoking on a Sativa dominate strain, which are known to cause new weed smokers and experienced ones too to become paranoid. Try Indica, it’ll give you a relaxed, body high that’ll make you wanna eat and sleep.
Try smoking a different way. My friend always smoked out of a cheap, small spoon bowl. After smoking from a bong for his first time, the high was so intense it caused him to panic and become really paranoid.
If all else fails, maybe just don’t smoke weed. Weed isn’t for everyone and can affect people differently.
It really depends on the person and situation, if you are a new smoker you are more likely to be paranoid. If your parents are strict or you’re somewhere you’re not supposed to be you will be paranoid. If you find that weed makes you anxious but you still want to partake do it in a comfortable environment. If your parents are strict go to a close friends house or do it when they are at work. Smoke in your back yard so there’s no chance of it smelling. If you can do it while they are sleeping. Remember to breathe and wash your hands and change your clothes. If you do smoke in your room, close the vent and shove a towel under the door, open your window and try to smoke out of it, keep it so only your head is sticking out then open it fully when you’re done to let the room air out. Incense and perfume will raise suspicions. If you can, take a shower and make sure it is hot, leave the door open and this will air everything out and you should be good to go. Be safe and careful!
