  1. I recently just got myself a beautiful male eskimo puppy, it’s my first pet ever. I had lots of struggles figuring what name to give and I didn’t want to do any of these names on google. lol. I was going to name him Passenger, after my favourite musician. But i figured it’s way easier for dogs to respond to a mono or double syllables names ( you should take note of this when figuring out your dog’s name). I was preparing for a female and i had shit load of names in my head already, but they only had females at the pet shop. So, i decided to go with DUKE, cos he’s royalty like that.

  2. Naming a dog is fun. Collect all kinds of names and think about your dog’s characteristics and personality before choosing one. Two syllable names are best. Go with people names. If it’s tempting to give your dog some edgy name to impress your friends, keep in mind that your dog doesn’t care what you call it, but you’re the one who will be at the dog park yelling out their name. I always go with people names, I’m not saying call your dog John or Mike, there are definitely some names that don’t work, but there are plenty that do. For instance Eddie, Barney, Maggie, Ralph, Henry, Leo, Louie, Norm, Oscar, Annie, Max, Willie, etc.
