Toothpaste will irritate the skin, and the pimple will probably eventually disappear along with the irritation, but toothpaste is in no way a primary treatment for acne. The best way to get rid of zits is by just keeping your face clean. Wash your face with a gentle face cleaner twice a day or wash it after you do a physical activity to remove sweat and bacteria. If you’re currently going through puberty, your hormones also can have a major play in acne and that for the most part is genetic. So I’d recommend washing your face twice a day with a gentle face cleaner and find a moisturizing cream for your face to apply so you don’t get dried out.
