If you’re working just for making money, believe me, the motivation is not going to stick around for very long. Money was never meant to be an end in itself. The concept of money was to make exchange between people more simple and give it a standard. But, it grieves me to see now that money and it’s accumulation has become an obsession for some. Money is supposed to help you meet your ends, your aspirations, your aims, etc. I understand that in some cases the amount of money required to fulfill the above is too large. In such a situation also, one’s motivation will only hold till the person keeps their focus intact on the final end and not on the amount of money required.

The point of a job is to do the things you are already able to do again and again and again. The point of school is to learn things you can’t yet do and to challenge yourself to do them. Not even considering the money, you will gain little more from working than an income, whereas you will gain knowledge and many valuable skills from school. If nothing else, in the end your degree will be similar to 4 potential years worth of raises, and maybe a lot more.

It depends on your current circumstances. How old you are, are you still in school, do you both have a nice job, how long have you dated before getting engaged?

Generally people wait 6 months to a year, depending what kind of wedding you want. Getting married is a big deal and a true commitment to the other person. And it involves giving up some things, like your space, how you sleep, sharing household responsibilities and finances, all this should be discussed beforehand, maybe time alone to recharge…depending on your personality.

You can try by being tolerant about it, because he’s definitely beating himself so hard. You don’t need to make it any harder. I was a teen bedwetter- in fact I still am more nights than not at the age of 29. Nobody wants to wet the bed, and trust me, would try about anything to stop. But getting aRead more

I was a teen bedwetter- in fact I still am more nights than not at the age of 29. Nobody wants to wet the bed, and trust me, would try about anything to stop. But getting a lot of stress from parents, who think they are either peeing on purpose or have some life threatening disease, is really damaging to emotional growth at that age and creates much unnecessary additional anxiety. You child will either out grow it or they won’t. From experience I can tell you, the longer it persists after going through puberty, the less likely it will ever stop entirely- and I am the poster child for that.

What happens if I put synthetic oil in my car?

If it is a new car and the warranty demands that synthetic oil must be used, then it is necessary. Otherwise it is not necessary but advisable. The small extra cost of the oil gives a longer oil change period and the synthetic oil is much more resistant against degradation.
