My last relationship. I would have preferred to have talked to her face to face, but one of the reasons I needed to break up with her was because she wasn’t making time to come and see me in person. We hadn’t seen each other in four weeks when I broke up with her. So while it wasn’t my first choice of ways to break up, it was pretty much the only way I could, without driving to her house and having this conversation with her with her mom in the next room.
In person is always better. They will respect you more if you break up in person, but it’s over anyway. If it’s not too much of a hassle, I’d break up in person. I was broken up by phone call with somebody I was seeing for a year, and I felt it was a cowardly act, and disrespectful towards me.
