With the news of the Gates going their separate ways, the main thing that has been on the lips of people is “will Melinda walk away with half of Bill’s money or what”
Their money/wealth is tied in private organizations, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and their family office. Bill Gates also owns a small stake in Microsoft.
Both of them have plenty of money to live very nicely the way they have previously lived.
I really doubt that is going to happen. This is because Melinda signed a prenup before their marriage, well, so I heard. So it might be true or not. But I’m sure she’s quite rich herself so, it’s not exactly the case that she’s all reliant on Bill Gates’ money.
