my menstrual period makes me really sick, I cannot do anything during this period and I am wondering if anyone is this way too

painful periods are caused by a series of things, your period is painful because you have a lot of blood clots and trying to release that from the uterus causes a whole lot of contractions, this is when you get a cramp, or a succession of cramps, stay away from sugar and oily foods.
i know of a friend who used to have extremely difficult periods and that would cost her a whole week she thought it was too much sugar but when she could not take it anymore, her medical check up showed that it was a tumor that had grown in her pelvis, and she is quite unable to have children now as well, her periods are significantly less painful after treatment but she was told to have come in earlier.
