I strongly feel “Morning Star” is such a beautiful name to give someone like the Satan himself. Why is Satan called the Morning Star?

Lucifer’s name “Morningstar” is more of a title than a name. It had to do with his destiny and purpose of being God’s most powerful angel and why he sat upon the left hand of God’s throne. For Lucifer was made to be so powerful in order to be God’s vessal and hand of creation. He made Lucifer to be capable of possessing the divine spark of creation, the power of God himself, without it destroying him. Through Lucifer, the Holy Spirt acted and created the first spark of creation, hence the Lightbearer, Bearer of the First Dawn as well as Son of the Morningstar, all describing his duty and place in the Heavenly Hierarchy of the Angelic Order.
It is believed that Lucifer was the most beautiful of the Archangels, which is the highest order in the angel hierarchy. It is also believed that Lucifer, in his form was like a musical instrument, and probably had an extraordinary voice. Though he was the most beautiful, he was not like man who was created in God’s image. Of course, after being casted out of heaven when he tried to overthrow God Himself, seeing Adam created in God’s image was most unpleasant. Lucifer was jealous and hated God’s creation, especially Adam and Eve. This is why he sought to cause them to disobey God and create separation.
