I never remember the start of a my dream, no matter how hard I tried, I’ve never remembered the start of any of my dreams. Why is this?

I’d say it’s because the mind is probably so focused on other things in daily life that we put a lot of emphasis and value in that we automatically put things we deem as “useless” to the back of the brain. At the same time, not all dreams are concrete and detailed, usually they’re pretty vague and open to interpretation. As humans I think we are more fixated on core details so we easily forget whatever our dream was cause we fail to see correlation and meaning in the experience.
I’ve actually never really thought about this. Wow, that’s so true. But I always thought we forget dreams so quickly because otherwise we could easily confuse them with our reality. Thinking about this I would like to know more. Are dreams and reality really the same to our brains? Are memories and dreams different to our brains? I’d really like to know
