Seems like such a cheesy thing to do but is it that people never get over their exes?
Usually we tend to rationally forget former partners. It’s the only way to move on, because emotional pain is very high, time takes time to heal our hearts, but life doesn’t wait. So we “turn the page” externally. Outside-in. However our subconscious is still stuck there, emotionally bound to the former partner. And wearing away that bond is a hard and very long process.
In a normal psychological state, we have a whole lot of rational barriers and filters which control our behavior. When we are drunk these barriers drop, allowing our subconscious to freely express without any filter at all.
