Why are P.O. Pele always in a haste to call wealthy people lucky as if they don’t put in the effort and work?

Usually they are born rich, not sure if that counts as luck. It probably takes some smarts to maintain being rich. As for the rest, probably a bit of both. I think the most common thing rich people have in common is perseverance, and belief in themselves and their ideas. Start with that, add luck and smartness, and it increases the odds of success greatly.
That’s simply less privileged folks say to make themselves feel better about their condition. True, some rich and wealthy folks are lucky, but when you look at it, the rich freaking worked for their money. I mean, does money fall from the sky? I guess not. Infact, some rich people are the most focused and hardworking set of people I’ve ever met. People don’t pay attention when these rich people are working their asses off, but when they’re taking breaks and going on vacations, people are so quick to say they simply got “lucky”.
