Birthdays are celebrations of Life. We celebrate that we made it another year and also that we are at the beginning of a new year of life. None of us are promised tomorrow so making it another 365 days is a great feat. Death can come at any age or stage of life. So relating dying to being a year old puts a damper on the fact that we should be thankful and overjoyed that you made it through the previous year and embrace what you have today.
It is just like asking why do you enjoy a vacation, when essentially it is going to end??? Do you live the moments thinking, it is going to end, oh, lets just not enjoy… it will be fruitless?
No! You don’t. We all live in present and life is to be celebrated each day.
Understand the birthday parties as a celebration of a year added into your life, the experience that you have lived, the relationship that have given you happiness,
the moments that made you thank God for being alive. We all will die one day, why not keep celebrating the days alive!!!
      Keep Celebrating!

They’re celebrating their victory over life and death. Yes, we get closer to death every year. But death is inevitable. It could be of old age, illness, murder, or even just an accident. The majority of people will die from a cardiovascular disease or cancer. Only 27% of people live past 70 years old. We could be in the shower and then just slip and that might be it. So, every year we don’t die is a victory, it is one more year where we successfully beat death. Living to die another day, still means we had another day to live and enjoy life. So, we celebrate till we die.
