Why do I eat a lot but never seem to add weight?

It may be really interesting how some people can’t  seem to gain weight without having to watch their diet, while others constantly have to struggle with it.

It is possible to eat what you really like and need without gaining weight. You just have to know what to eat according to your unique body needs and energy used during your day. Focus on the joy and pleasure for your body. Do not focus on just food. Why do you want to eat unlimited, and unrestricted? Have you been on strict diets for so long that you just want to eat unlimited and unrestricted? These are my suggestions; to eat what you like and take care of your body—
Make veggies the base of your diet. These you can eat as much as you want. Eat foods high in fiber, they make you feel full and very satisfied. Eat every day on every meal from each one of the following food groups: Veggies and fruits, carbs, proteins, legumes, dairy (if you’re not intolerant) fats. Eat until your stomach feel satisfied, not until it feels uncomfortable. Do not count calories. Stop thinking about fat, weight and sizes. Focus on giving your body what it needs to stay healthy, strong and beautiful. If every once in awhile you want to to indulge with sweets like cake or ice cream, just do it! But also eat your quality food and stay connected to your body, not your mind, because that is what will give you balance and freedom to eat whatever you want. Your mind can tell you that you want more of something but it may not be true. Ask your body always and you will be surprise how the body demands balance and limits. Goodluck

Perhaps your body burns energy faster. Some people are usually way more active in their normal lives and burn energy faster. They tend to appear slim/skinny whereas they can eat a lot. Consult an endocrinologist in that case, they can run tests for thyroid gland hormones and prescribe a medication if needed. You are what the pop-culture says ‘skinny fat’. There are chances that your body may actually be storing fat, just not in the visible places. I have seen a lot of people who are very skinny and can eat anything they want but their body fat percentage results are off the charts: their body contains a lot of fat by percentage. How does that happen: if fat gets stored under the skin, it shows up; if fat gets stored around your internal organs, it doesn’t show up. This latter type of fat is directly correlated to increased likelihood of heart disease and internal organ failure. Try to get your body composition tested our properly – not through those weighing scale machines – have your body fat profiled. If your fat stores are within range and your lipid profiles come out fine, then you are a very lucky person, because you can eat without worrying about anything.
