It’s no brainer, it is widely known that Koreans are so in love with plastic surgery in correcting parts of their bodies.

Koreans are perfectionists. Everything, including themselves, has to be perfect. Some people have called them a self hating race because they do so much plastic surgery, but it is not quite that. They are also perfectionists about other things too. I have seen them dig up perfectly beautiful flower gardens thinking they needed to make them more beautiful. They constantly have traffic jams because they do overkill on road repair, but all their road are top notch, not a pot hole anywhere or even a patched hole. They dig up the road and redo it and make it perfect. When they own a car, they much own a very fancy car. They often just leave it sitting in their parking space and hardly drive it because they want to take care of it so badly. If they get one little scratch on their car, they go crazy, and they may have the whole car repainted.
The society is very cautious about looks and emphasize the maintenance of good looks as such. Another reason that promotes surgery is that the employees are hired or given a job based on looks, a better looking person is more likely to get a job. Even the job application forms require a photo on it in South Korea and you get photo shopped pictures at regular photo booths and can use them even in government documents like passports and ID cards; they basically fix the faces to Korean standards. Also there is a lot of advertisements of surgery before and after all over the place-in subways and streets for example; that acts as a stimulus partly. The society in Korea is quite open to the surgery as well.
