  1. Positive self talks can become lying to oneself when a person feels to realize their personal shortcomings as inadequacies. Positivity cannot replace your flaws, you lie to yourself if you think saying positive things will help get rid of unruly characters and flaws. When you lie to yourself, you rid yourself of the chances to see how you can help yourself and become a better version.

  2. If you feel as if you’re lying to yourself, then it means that you don’t really believe in your words. If you’re saying that you’re feeling great about yourself, but you actually aren’t, then positive reinforcement won’t make you believe it instantly. What will help though is keeping up that positive self-talk. It’s like with any habit – the more you cultivate it, the more natural it becomes and the more you’ll feel it’s also true.
