  1. Once a year, a full medical checkup. This include cancer markers , blood and stool and urine sample testing. My suggestion if you have a high risk lifestyle e.g. sexually active, get check done more often for STD, mycoplasma and ureaplasma. For me due to racing license renewals, I started doing this test. Eventually as I got into the gym and started getting physically from 48 years old, I did this test as part of the overall big picture of health. Don’t forget the dentist trips as well even if nothing is hurting on the mouth.

  2. A normal regime for a checkup would be an annual physical. I actually go every 6 months for a check up due to family health history. You may feel healthy, but you could have an underlying medical condition that you aren’t aware of. My mother was a prime example of this. She felt fine, but she found out that she had Ovarian Cancer. I can’t even begin to tell you how many people don’t go for their annual checkup because they feel healthy- until something happens. Then they find out that they’ve had an illness for a long time. Early detection is key for many illnesses- it could save your life.
