I feel they’re both two faces of the same coin 🪙 there is no one without the other. The quality of your product must be great before you can attempt to sell it to the public. That is, your product must be solid because you’re not the only one offering that product to the public, there are many other competitors. So your product really need to stand out. After making sure your product is bomb, then your focus got to be on marketing. How do you target your customers? What are the promos you’re using to entice them to your brand? How do you make your brand stand out? Your marketing strategies have to be great. So, you really can’t take the product from the marketing and you can’t take the marketing from the product, they’re both intertwined.
Marketing is everything from desiging a product or service to how its priced, ditributed, advertised etc. Marketing is how a product interacts with the its target market. It’s one of the single most important areas of a business and can go very bad if it’s not done correctly. Just look at all the major social media meltdowns from big companies recently as an example.
