The morning-after pill is a type of emergency birth control (contraception). Emergency contraception is used to prevent pregnancy for women who’ve had unprotected sex or whose birth control method has failed. The morning-after pill is intended for backup contraception only, not as a primary method of birth control. It will not protect you from STDs.
wherever did you get this information though? This is an absolute misinformation, even condomns don’t guarantee hundred percent protection from STDs, there is simply no medication that I am aware of anyways that PREVENT std’s, you should be careful, and you should most likely get tested if you had unprotected sex believing this.
