A sugar rush is an experience of high energy after eating or drinking a considerable amount of sugar in a short period of time, often associated with hyperactive children.

However, there’s no denying the fact that consumption of sugar in such heavy amounts is one of the most unhealthy things you are feeding your body with. Indulging into sweets can have a drastic impact on your body. It can make you feel tired and drowsy and can eventually lead to weight gain in the long run. A sugar rush is usually caused by a sudden high consumption of sugar. It must be consumed in moderation as it can lead to a sugar rush.
