The dogecoin is a relatively new cryptocurrency that has been on the news for some days. I personally heard about it when Elon Musk tweeted something about it on Twitter.
This cryptocurrency coin was created without any serious prospects, but now this is far from the case. Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency based on Luckycoin and it designed to be a more affordable alternative to Bitcoin or Litecoin, or other cryptocurrencies. You can find a lot of articles about it on internet anyway.
From what I can tell Dogecoin has a good developer community and gets transacted a lot, but it’s mostly a fluke because it got a lot of publicity in the early stages of its existence due to it being a joke. The transactions it carries out are mostly micro-tips among people who like to use Dogecoin as a toy. It might stick around for a while in its own niche, but I don’t see an important need it fills better than anything else out there to rise above the rest in the long run.
