I have playlist for all of my emotions— lol. But really, that’s how I get by everyday. When I’m sad or depressed, I play songs that lift can lift my soul/spirit. Most times, the songs that are always on this type of playlist are songs that give hope, songs that assures me of a better future, to not give up— I simply encourage myself through songs.
There are several messages that get me through the bad days , but the ones I go to always are in God’s Word. There is always something that relates to my life and what is going on. I have found peace and rest amongst turmoil and loss, battling addictions and mental issues. His word gives me hope and life especially in this world.
I also do mindful meditations and reading books have helped me to stay connected to my present and the people in my support circle. I hope you find the comfort you need in your journey. Getting rid of negativities and concentrating more on positive things is a good way to revitalize your energy.
