You are wearing the wrong size bra, the bra is not being rinsed enough, or you should see a doctor. Get properly fitted by a professional bra fitter in a lingerie shop – not a department store. Rinse your bras well after washing by hand— never wash them in a washing machine- soak is a nice, easy brand to use. Make an appointment with your Gynecologist to have a breast exam, being sure to mention the itching.

You may feel a small lump or notice a clear or bloody discharge from the nipple. To make the diagnosis, your doctor may X-ray your breast duct or order an ultrasound, mammogram, or biopsy. The treatment is usually surgery.
