Getting rid of hyperpigmentation can be challenging. You can expect it to just go away. If you are using a product to reduce hyperpigmentation, then use it regularly for a longer period of time. You can also prevent hyperpigmentation by covering your skin and avoiding harsh sunlight. I use mCaffeine’s products to deal with all my skincare issues. I was introduced to this brand by my friends and I can’t be more thankful to them. The first product that I used from mCaffeine was the Coffee Body Scrub. This scrub has become my favourite. It is Paraben SLS and cruelty free and suitable for all skin types. After I had a great experience with the scrub, I tried other mCaffeine products as well and all of them are equally great. I would recommend you to try mCaffeine products as well. You would certainly love them.

Getting rid of pigmentation can be a little tough, however, not impossible. It take time for pigmentation to completely fade away from your face. It can take 3 to 24months for it to fully fade, although in some cases it may take longer. The length of time it takes depends on how dark the spot is compared to the surrounding skin. The bigger the contrast between the macule and your natural skin tone, the longer it will take to fade.
You can follow these steps to get rid of pigmentation.
      1. Apple cider vinegar: ACV is a great remedy for acne and scars. It contains acetic acid, that lightens pigmentation.
      a. Combine equal parts apple cider vinegar and water in a container.
      b. Apply to your dark patches and leave on two to three minutes.
      c. Rinse using lukewarm water.
      d. Repeat twice daily you achieve the results you desire.
      2. Aloe vera: Aloe vera contains aloin, a natural depigmenting compound that has been shown to lighten skin and work effectively as a nontoxic hyperpigmentation treatment.
      a. Apply pure aloe vera gel to pigmented areas before bedtime.
      b. Rinse using warm water the next morning.
      c. Repeat daily until your skin color improves.
      3. Milk: Milk, buttermilk, and even sour milk have all been shown to effectively lighten skin discoloration. Lactic acid is the ingredient responsible for this effect.
      a. Soak a cotton ball in the milk.
      b. Rub it over darkened skin patches twice a day.
      c. Repeat daily until you see results.
      4. Masoor dal: Masoor dal face masks, which are made from red lentils, are popular as a hyperpigmentation treatment. Though there isn’t any evidence to back these claims, red lentils are rich in antioxidants that are known to be good for the skin.
      a. Soak 50 grams of red lentils overnight in a bowl of water.
      b. Use a blender or food processor to create a fine paste.
      c. Apply the paste evenly over your face and leave it on for 20 minutes.
      d. Rinse with cold water and pat your skin dry with a towel.
      5. Papaya: Rubbing papaya peel and extracts on pigmentation can help you get rid of it.
      6. Baking Powder: You can mix water and baking powder and apply this paste to the pigmented skin once a week for 5 minutes to help with pigmentation.
Apart from home made techniques, there are skincare products available in the market for pigmentation that you can use to get rid of pigmentation sooner. Suggested brand, Bella Vita Organic’s papaya series for pigmentation and blemishes.
