What type of dog has blue eyes that shine bright at night?
The most common dog breeds with blue eyes are Husky’s and Australian shepherd. The blue colored eyes are associated with the coat of the dog. Mostly dogs with a white coat tend to have blue eyes. Other dog breeds with blue eyes are: Grate Danes, collies and Dachshunds. There may be others but those are the ones I know of now.
Blue eyes are only found in a handful of dog breeds. It’s technically caused by a lack of pigmentation, and it can sometimes be the result of a genetic abnormality. Dogs with blue eyes are somewhat rare, and we want to celebrate their stunning good looks. In some dog breeds, blue eyes can be an indicator of possible vision defects. However, they do not necessarily mean a blue-eyed dog will eventually go blind. While Siberian Huskies and other breeds normally have blue eyes, in other breeds this eye color occurs when two merle-colored dogs produce offspring.
