I had always blamed people around me for whatever happened to me, or whatever situation I found myself in. At the beginning of this year, I told myself I wanted to stop pushing my responsibilities on other people. I decided to eliminate the art of blaming others from my life. I took charge of my life and told myself I am in charge, I am responsible for whatever I do or say. I am responsible for what I become. I stopped make others feel responsible for the life I live.
Leaving a bad relationship was the best decision I’ve ever made. You may wonder why this happens to be my best decision. I was in an unhealthy relationship, I was physically, menatlaly and verbally abused by the person I called my boyfriend. Everyone told me to leave him, that he was no good for me. I thought he would change. He never did. It was a 6yr relationship that messed me up psychologically. When I finally found the courage to leave, I became happy. I started doing well for myself and I saw myself better, discovered a lot of potentials in me. Things I wouldn’t have known if I was still in the unhealthy relationship.
