In trying to look for a top tech company to run your internship, be sure to look for one that will actually contribute to your personal growth and development. Most of these companies are known for exploiting young minds. Don’t just look for a top company, look for one where you will actually grow and where you will matter. I believe you will find a good number of good option on google. Good luck to you.
There is a selective internship program in Melbourne called Tin Alley Beta, the aim is to connect the most promising technical students with startups.
There are a few companies I know that offer great internship programs, you may want to look them up; Atlassian, Freelancer, 99Designs, ThoughtWorks.
