Piercing with gun aids infection and it is also more painful, so do not pierce with gun. Do not even consider the gun; professional body piercers always use the needle. It’s much more hygienic. All of my piercings have been done with the needle, and the only differences pain-wise have been due to the body part and the piercers’ techniques.
Needle. Needle needle needle. Needle all the way. Never ever let someone pierce you with a gun. It’s so unsanitary and causes nothing but problems. Go to a highly respected piercer and get pierced with a needle. Please don’t use a gun, especially on cartilage.
