Always keep your drink in your hand because someone can slip something in it when you have your back turned while you are right next to it. This actually happened to me. Was having drinks at a table in a club with two strange people. In the time it took me to turn around to look at the stage and turn back around, one had roofied me. I never left the table, and that happened.
Don’t even try to visually identify a spiked drink. Get the drink at the bar, making sure you observe the bartender opening it. Keep your drink observed and with your hand covering it at all times, keep it in the bottle if possible. If you leave it unattended for even a second or get distracted, just assume the drink is spiked, accept the loss, and get another drink.
