salary should be included in a vacancy post, it lessens the work of the hiring manager even, because only those okay with the pay would apply.

Find the job you’re interested in. If there is no salary range posted search indeed with the exact job title. Then add in a low salary range filter search again, keep increasing the salary until it doesn’t show up anymore. I once had an interview that listed the yearly salary. I thought wow, perfect. I went through the interview and get offered the job on the spot. Then, they asked what my salary expectations are and I mention the salary they had posted. The interviewer looked thoroughly confused, like he didn’t understand. My best advise is, know what’s paid in such industry for such role.
I hate that one is not supposed to ask about salary from the get-go, I’m always told, so that you don’t come across as only interested in the money. Well guess what, if I didn’t need money I wouldn’t be working at all. That’s why we work. We’re providing our time and skills in exchange for money. I hate the big mystery around this. Disclose what you are thinking of paying, and I will decide if I want to waste your time and mine applying.
