I have a job offer that pays quite well but I would like to make plans for the long haul, is working for someone else ultimately a bad decision?
should i work a 9-5 that pays well or should I devote my energy to building my own brand?

in my opinion, 9-5 are quite good especially if they are stable jobs but you have to consider other factors such as flexibility and freedom, when you run your brand, you are not limited, you can switch things up as often as you’d like, you can take a holiday etc…ultimately having your own thing affords you freedom that you might not have when you work for other people.
I would really consider this before taking a big step, running your own business is no joke, it requires a lot of work and commitment, you can’t just up and quit. You have to be dedicated, you must have the required funds as well which is a lot of money, you can’t take a break from managing your business. I think you should do the maths and consider which option best suits you.
