In general, most people experience more difficulty, pain, and longer recovery times with cesarean birth than with vaginal, but this is not always the case. Sometimes, vaginal birth that was overly difficult or caused extensive tearing can be just as, if not more, challenging than c-section. The best is to start exercising during the pregnancy to make all less difficult, also ceaserean section will leave your body with scars.
A “natural birth” is considered a vaginal delivery, which could be with or without pain medication or other medical intervention.
Typically, vaginal births result in shorter hospital stays, lower injection rates, and quicker recovery times, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Some women will deliver a baby with no medical interventions, while others may require or request some form of intervention. Ultimately, both have pros and cons.
