Schizophrenia is a severe mental illness with a lot of syndromes rather than symptoms. They can be positive, negative and cognitive. unfortunately there is no cure but it responds to medication. Although, no permanent cure, the ailment can be treated with significant success with medications and therapy under psychiatric care.
While there is no cure for schizophrenia, it is a treatable disorder. Treatments include; recovery-oriented psychological treatment and rehabilitation that can help sufferers lead independent lives. Also, there some medications that can be prescribed by professionals to block some activities of the brain.
