Schizoid personality disorder is an inability of a person to resolve their codependent need for connection with their codependent fear of rejection and or discomfort anxiety around others. It is characterized by the inability to form intimate relationships share emotions the creation of elaborate internal fantasy worlds magical thinking tortuous amounts of self reflection and other issues that make life difficult to live.
A person with schizoid personality disorder often has difficulty expressing. Schizoid personality disorder is characterized by a long standing pattern of detachment from social relationships. Avoidant personality disorder individual is socially inhibited feels inadequate and is oversensitive to criticism.
