  1. No, you’re not a polyglot if you speak, understand and write just three languages. It is not to discredit your ability to speak varieties of languages, but you don’t become a polyglot until you’re able to write, understand and speak more than three language fluently.

  2. Polyglots are a set of people who can understand, read and speak more than three languages. Trilingual when you know just three and bilingual if you know two. I think a polyglot is someone who knows more than three languages in a higher level than just saying sentences and also the one who masters the language.
