have you ever been phone shamed cos of the type of phone you use? I get shamed every now and then, but IDGAF about it cos why should I listen to a bunch lot of people who are probably tired of their own lives
most people in my extended circle are iPhone users, including just about all of my family and many of my closest friends. It says more about the people shaming, their whole identity is tied to a brand and they react aggressively when someone doesn’t agree with them. It’s sad society is in such a mess where brands dominate personal relationships. From what I have seen, the iPhone users that bash on Android users are the ones that always buys the newest iPhone. I’ve been with my iPhone 7 for a little over a year, and I’m not planning on changing it anytime soon.
People are being brainwashed into spending money they dont have so they look like they do have money, then ridicule people who aren’t stupid enough to do the same. Also phones have a massive enviromental impact, buying a new iphone every year is supporting an incredibly harmful industry. I could care less what kind of phone someone has. I have a samsung and have got made fun of by people with iphones for it. Like why do you even care? Its my phone and I’m happy with it.
