Formulation is everything. Cheap formulations sometimes work, but Paula’s Choice makes some products that just are worth the extra money for how well they absorb into the skin. I try to mostly use inexpensive products, but some products I just haven’t found an economical replacement for. It’s a long game in skincare to find what works for you.
Skincare is more than just active ingredients. I, for example, didn’t like any of the Ordinary stuff I tried. Some of it pilled horribly, some stung, etc. I’m okay with paying extra for a product that feels nice, doesn’t irritate my skin and layers nicely. There are plenty of Vitamin C serums that cost way more than $50 and you won’t even get value for the money spent. So, if Paula’s choice offer me good products that actually work, I’ll gladly pay that extra dollars.
