I got my bellybutton piercing done 6weeks ago, good time for it to have healed up yeah? No, it hasn’t, and I’m all so worried sick about it. What do I do?

Everyone heals differently. There are many reasons. Often it’s not so much that the piercing isn’t healed because technically it is, but it just needs to settle. There is a foreign object inserted into your body. Your body knows this and tries to either assimilate or reject the object. This process takes time, different lengths of time for everyone.
There is a foreign material touching your skin. Perhaps you are the tiniest bit allergic and the body takes a while to build immunity. We sleep on our tommy some times. A little irritation isn’t bad but night after night compounds it. We bump and brush our tommy several times a day: showering, drying, dressing, putting on our seatbelts, reaching up for something, hugging people. These micro touches can, again, compound. That process is different for everyone. As long as they’re not oozy, or swollen, or hot to the touch or very red. what you’re experiencing is normal.

There is a probability that you are likely allergic to the metal in the stud. They either have to be 100% gold or stainless steel. So take the stud out put some peroxide on a paper towel clean it out then wash it soap and water, put some polysporn in the hole in the earlobe and on the stud and put it back in but make sure you already got new stud.
