Why is the society not always as loud when issues of male rape come up compared to how they always are when it’s about female rape?

This is due to the fact that males are often expected to be presented as strong and fearful. Thus, this makes most male rape victims to not talk about their experience. There are a lot of rape victims that are males, but most of them do not come out to report or speak up just because they don’t want to be seen as being pity or pitiful. The lack of care from the society towards male rape victims can be said to stem up from society’s expectations from the male gender.

It is often believed that the society is not as loud when it comes to male rape. The society at large knows every child gets rape; both male and female. But it is also true that out of 10 raped children, 6 or 7 must be female. The society may seem to be more particular about the girl child rape because it is more rampant, and that is the fact except we all gonna turn blind eye to that. Also, given how the female gender is often sidelined, it is only expected that major concern is to the girl children in order to make the society save for them, and for them to actually feel safe in it.
