There’s really no one way to do this diet thing, you just have to know what works for you and what doesn’t. I started very simple and repetitive just to understand how I felt, after that added new recipes i found over time, got used to the diet and tailored it to my needs. I started with eggs and bacon for breakfast, salad for lunch and a simple something for dinner like salad, fried meat, kale, spinach, cheese, eggs etc.. Give it a go, make mistakes and learn from it. You can only get better when you try.
Keto is just another way of creating a calorie deficit, which is how you lose fat, by cutting out quarter of your macronutrients you are likely going to be in a calorie deficit. Just implement a calorie deficit, that is, burning more calories than you consume, then you have freedom with what you eat and still lose fat, you are not restricted to how many carbs you can eat and you can sustain it as a lifestyle much easier.
