There are many factors that affect local search ranking, but google reviews definitely impact and impose on local ranking. If I saw a local listing with great reviews and another listing with none, I already know which one I’d be clicking on. That’s what google reviews do local search ranking.
It does not directly impact local ranking but it somehow contributes to it. If you have good reviews and your target audience sees that, there is a high possibility that they will go to your website and purchase the service or product they need, earning a traffic on your website and also an increase on sales. Online reviews help businesses to be found. The more good reviews you have the higher the possibility that your target audience will go to your website. Even if your business was not the first choice but you have more good review than your competitor, they will take time to consider things. In short, it may not be a direct factor for local ranking, it still has is relevance.
