I’d like to get stronger bones as my bones seem too weak, but I am already over 30. I hope this won’t affect my chances of getting stronger bones.

There is no set age really. It varies from person to person. Your bones will stop growing when the bone growth plates harden but the muscular portion of your body continues to grow and develop until it reaches maturity. That is the reason that an 18year old can be 6ft tall and skinny but two years later be 6ft tall and muscular.
Actually, older you get, the harder it is to maintain bone strength. We continue to build bone mass until age 30, after age 30, we break down more bone than we rebuild. Daily intake of calcium and vitamin can really come up to your rescue.
Exercising can also help slow down the rate of bone loss. Quit smoking as it can increase bone loss. Drink alcohol moderately, if at all. Maintain an appropriate body weight, being underweight increases the chance of bone loss and fractures. Excess weight now is known to increase the risk of fractures in your arm and wrist. As such, keeping body weight in check is good for bones just as it is for health in general.
