Is it possible to get into a serious relationship but without sex?
For most people, it is a very important part of the relationship. Now, that’s for when we are talking about non-asexual people, because asexuals don’t a desire for sex and just generally don’t have a feeling about the act. A relationship between two asexuals can thrive without sex because none of them would find it important and wouldn’t have a desire to have it.
I think almost all successful relationships require sexual chemistry. She may be saying that she doesn’t need it because she likes you and doesn’t want to upset you, but if you really think someone should sacrifice an important physical need like that, you need to re-evaluate your thinking. It’s selfish to expect someone to turn into an asexual because you are physically incapable of it. Most girls will never admit that they have sexual needs. She may be too immature to explain her real feelings about this.
