I often hear people say 30s are just like 20s, but you’re just a bit older with clearer goals and determinations. I’ve always known that hitting 30 is a great deal but I just can’t never imagine 30s like 20s.
Is it true that 30s are just like your 20s but with more money and clearer goals?

In your twenties, don’t know what you want, you don’t have the means to get it anyway, and even if you did, you wouldn’t fully appreciate what you had. But when you got your thirties, your aim gets clearer and you get a better understanding of the workings of the world. You now know how a lot of things operate and how best to approach situations. Of course, you now know what you want, you have the means to get it, and you will appreciate it once you have it.
I was struggling and doubting my abilities all through my twenties. Now, I am slowly accepting my own limitations, strengths, weaknesses, what makes me to be who I am. My priorities are now in line with my personality and goals. I don’t need to pretend to be who I’m not just to please people I don’t even like. I surround myself with smarter people, wise mentors who add value to my life. Everyone has a perfect fit to what society has to offer – we just have to keep exploring and find things that make us happy. Then don’t stop doing it. I learned that the world doesn’t revolve around me. If I want to get something, don’t expect anything to happen without putting in the effort first. After graduating college, all I’ve done was get stuck in the rat race without realising the world is full of opportunities if you just look outside. 20s are the best time to gain experience doing everything you can get your hands on. Don’t restrict yourself. You will find 30s to be a much better decade.
