Ice cream is not a healthy food for dogs, for goodness sake I can never understand why some people want thier dog to have everything that they have. They want doggie ice cream, pajamas, shoes, starbucks drinks, bars, restaurants etc. I think dogs just want to be dogs, they don’t give a fuck about wearing a cute sweater or eating expensive ice cream from a cone or cup.
I say it’s perfectly fine for an occasional treat, no real harm in giving them small amounts every now and again. If anything he might have some diarrhea after – dairy can be too rich for some dogs. If you have a dog prone to pancreatitis then you should not give them ice cream. But if he’s had it and had no problems it’s fine. There’s nothing harmful in it.
