Drinking coffee alongside your medication may cause too much stimulation and serious side effects. Drinking large amounts of caffeinated coffee might cause headache, anxiety, agitation, ringing in the ears, and irregular heartbeats. Larger doses might cause headache, anxiety, agitation, and chest pain.
As long as it’s not alcohol, I’d say that you can if you like. There are a few restrictions though. There are quite a few medications that you can’t drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits while on the medications. But coffee? Yeah, you are good as far as I know. I take my meds with my morning coffee every now and then, and I’m good.
